Isuzu Grafter Wins Light Truck of the Year Award
The Isuzu Grafter 3.5 tonne truck range was recently awarded ‘Light Truck of the Year’ at the Great British Fleet Awards 2020.
On awarding the accolade, the judges said “Isuzu’s forward control light truck continues to grow in popularity. The 3.5 tonne Grafter provides impressive payload, with compact overall dimensions, making it ideal for urban use. With a downsized 1.9 L engine and a choice of manual or semi-automatic transmission, operating costs are also kept low.”
The awards ceremony, which covered 35 categories, was judged by a panel of Fleet World Group editors and recognised innovative new products and services that contributed to safer and more efficient fleets as well as streamlined operations.
The award was collected by Isuzu Trucks, and their representative said, “Since we launched the new light weight Grafter range in 2017 it has gone from strength to strength, breaking all records in terms of sales and on-the-road performance. With market leading reliability and payload, the Isuzu Grafter is now the ‘go to’ truck at 3.5 tonne. Winning this award is independent recognition of the outstanding performance of the Grafter over the past few years.”
The new Isuzu N35 Grafter Green range comes with a choice of standard cab colours, flint grey or white and they are available in both single and twin rear wheel configurations. The Grafter Green range offers improved performance, significant weight savings and a much higher quality ride. The Grafter range is also Euro-6 compliant.
