New Isuzu XTR
Hardcore has never looked this good. The Isuzu D-Max XTR is an unashamedly rugged pick-up for those who demand more. More aggressiveness, more technology, more off-road capability. The latter is achieved by way of a Pedders suspension kit, a standard upgrade which demolishes rutted surfaces (and speed bumps). The XTR body kit is unique, boasting wheel arch extensions, headlight frames, a rear tailgate spoiler and bumper guards for a look that commands respect. It’s tough, but also liveable, with heated front seats, bespoke leather and suede upholstery, cruise control, a reversing camera and a 7” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Everything you need to conquer.
Thought the D-Max looked tough? The XTR looks tougher. Way tougher. The jacked up Pedders suspension and flared arches give it a commanding presence, while powder-coated black side steps and black door handles complete the look.
The Pedders suspension kit is a standard feature, jacking up the ride to 40mm with upgraded anti-roll bars and bushes. It handles rough terrain with aplomb, with Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist and driver-selectable 4x4 modes.
Throw all your gear in the back and store it securely thanks to the standard-fit lockable rear load liner. Accommodate five passengers with ease and tow a braked trailer up to 3.5-tonnes safely with Trailer Sway Control and ceramic front brake pads.
Living with it
Being inside the D-Max XTR is a pleasure. The leather and suede seats are glorious, with heating at the front. The infotainment system is on point too - it’s a 7” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and sat nav on Nav+ models.
